STORY
Mr J.P. Botha started the firm in Doornpoort, Pretoria, Gauteng. As the only clerk in the business, he built a strong foundation towards the growth of the firm. His commitment to providing quality accounting services and dedication to delivering reslults for his clients led to the successful relocation of the practice to Montana, Pretoria North, Gauteng. Mr. Botha has gained plenty of accounting qualifications throughout the years, including being President and CEO of SAIPA from 2004 - 2005.
Gert and Celeste Barnard, partners of the business, graduated both with Honours degrees at the University of Potchefstroom and started their learnership under Mr. Botha’s guidance. Both, has been registered by SAIPA (South African Institute of Professional Accountants).  Celeste has gone further, obtaining her Masters' degree towards the South African and International tax services. From years 2006-2008 and 2012-2014, she was Chairman of the SAIPA Jacaranda district.  Gert, accredited by SAGE as a Pastel Partner technician, SAGE one accounting advisor and XERO certified advisor. Today we have Silver status at XERO.  Rochelle, graduated from the University of Noordwes, joined the team, completing her internship and became a member of the SAIPA (South African Institute of Professional Accountants) The practice has been registered as one of the first SAIPA (South African Institute of Professional Accountants) training centrums (ATC005) under Mr. J.P. Botha's leadership. In 2010, the practice was divided into sub divisions where BR REKENMEESTERS was born.
BR Financial Services (Pty) Ltd trading as BR Rekenmeesters has an experienced team of 15 personnel and 3 principals, (Celeste, Gert and Rochelle).

Gert Barnard
Working closely with Celeste, we form a formidable tight knit team with clients and our staff members. I provide the extra support and overseeing of daily accounting needs of our clients, be it through our software packages or a clients need for support in a software package such as Xero or SAGE accounting. I am your number one accredited certified advisor on both SAGE and Xero accounting software packages. Rochelle Geldenhuys
I stayed on as a qualified accountant after completing my articles at BR Rekenmeesters. Currently, I am the overseer of all clerical work and making sure that our daily tasks are running smoothly and accurately. I am also responsible for providing training and assistance to our staff where needed. I have a passion for accounting and strive to provide the best possible service to our customers.
